We even offer a special panel of agents du jour to help you prepare for a 1-on-1 pitch meeting. During our past conferences, attendees have secured representation and numerous book deals. In fact, one agent recently signed an author and landed her a three book deal with a major publisher! Special Events: "Sharknado" meets "Zombies" at the Conference  

Conference attendees will enjoy a free-wheeling interview with director Anthony C. Ferrante, who helmed all six of the Sharknado movies and has written and directed such genre films as Boo and Forgotten Evil. Entitled, "You see, there's this Tornado, and it's full of Sharks…!"(or How to Pitch and Sell an Independent Movie in Hollywood) this interview with writer-producer Joel Eisenberg will reveal the evolution of Sharknado from pitch to execution and discuss how the ambitious franchise was directed. Clips from the series will be shown with live commentary. Plus Anthony will have a preview from "Zombie Tidal Wave", his latest directorial feature (and he co-wrote), which will premiere that same Saturday evening August 17th on the SyFy Channel. A Q&A session will follow, time permitting.
